Since his first official release in October 2005, Indio has been featured and spotlighted on many CBC radio shows including The Vinyl Cafe, Canada Now (which has aired full live concerts of his work nationally), Global Village (live concert), North By Northwest, Definitely Not The Opera and others including Sounds Like Canada where he enjoyed a half hour interview with Shelagh Rogers. He was also nominated Best New Discovery by Canada’s leading Folk and Roots magazine ‘Penguin Eggs’ and his music has been on steady rotation across the country and abroad on leading folk and college stations as well as sattelite radio. He has performed approximately 200 concerts since that release including a number of established folk festivals, the largest and most prestigious being the Winnipeg Folk Festival where he was invited to perform on the main stage in the summer of 2007. He has been on the front page of many Canadian newspapers such as the Toronto Star and his work has been reviewed and praised by Canada’s leading music and art critics nationally.
