Andrew Van Slee With several independent films (Totally Blonde, Net Games, Adam & Evil), his own production company (Extraordinary Media Group) and the position of IFA DOT COM Executive Producer and Managing Partner all glittering on his resume, it is clear Andrew Van Slee has an innate sense for talent and the nerve necessary to not let it walk away.

Under the flag of his production company Extraordinary Media Group, the Canadian born Andrew has not only written, directed and produced a plethora of independent films but also discovered one of the music industries hottest new talents – the undeniably smooth Michael Buble.

Trained as a singer and pianist, Andrew has long loved the swinging sounds of Frank, Dean and Sammy. Thus when production on his film Totally Blonde began in 2003, Andrew called up local Vancouver singer Michael Buble and asked him to appear in the movie. Not long after shooting the film, Buble inked a record deal with Warner Brothers music giant David Foster (Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion, Josh Groban). To date, Buble has sold over 11 million albums worldwide and has been nominated for two Grammy awards.

Signed with Universal Music as both a producer and composer, Andrew wrote and produced the singer’s debut Indie album Totally Buble which landed at number nine on the Billboard charts, and went on to further produce Buble’s music video DVD. The album was then re-released as the Kings of Swing and coupled Buble’s vocal talents with those of the legendary Frank Sinatra.
