Rose’s songs have been featured in the films Love On The Side (Jennifer Tilly), Bonneville (Jessica Lang, Kathy Bates) at The Toronto International Film Festival, including television’s The Young And The Restless, Joan Of Arcadia, Party Of Five, Dawson’s Creek and others. Rose’s version of the EUROGLIDERS song “Heaven (Must Be There)” is currently featured in a year long TV ad campaign for Discovery Coast Tourism throughout South Australia and Victoria, Australia, replacing the original Eurogliders 80′s hit version.

Born and raised on the North Shore of Vancouver, British Columbia, Rose initially studied dance and acting in Vancouver and Los Angeles, before eventually finding her true calling in music. By nineteen Rose bought her first acoustic guitar and moved to Hawaii “to find herself,” and it did not take long. In Hawaii Rose began writing and performing her songs, and a couple of years later, the Canadian singer-songwriter recorded her independent debut record Replies, which coincided with a distribution deal through Pacific/Festival.

The following year showed the artist winning Canadian Musician Magazines songwriting contest for her song “Fly” and garnering radio play throughout North America for “Heaven”, “Call You Mine”, and “Watching Me”. Rose also lent her voice to the Women & Songs 6 Warner music single “Streets Where You Live” and soon after, her record was picked up for distribution by Pacific/Warner Music Canada.

Since then, Rose has been performing her music throughout Canada and America, Australia, New Zealand, and Africa. She has played such legendary haunts as The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and The Bitterend in New York City including a number of international music festivals including, Popkomm in Berlin, South By Southwest in Austin, Rockrgrl Seattle, Canadian Music Week, Vancouver’s New Music West, Pacific Contact, Merritt Mountain Music Festival … Rose is currently in the studio recording a new record. The release date is scheduled for Spring 2009.
