Artist Shani Foster is the founder and sole designer of Eyes of Ruth. Shani comes from a long line of South African artists, including painter and sculptress mother Ruth, for whom her company was named.  Educated in both her native South Africa and Israel and trained as a sculptress, Shani developed a love for modern and ethnic art. Shani, herself an accomplished sculptress, uses her vision and artistic sense to create handbag designs that offer styles that are both innovative and functional — at times whimsical, but always practical. Her modern approach – applying cutting-edge trends to functional designs — suits the needs of all women, especially appealing to those with higher aesthetics. All the innovative messenger bags and totes are manufactured locally in Los Angeles from the highest quality leathers and trims.
