Several months ago we were asked to take part in the Peak Performance Project, which is a seven year, $5.29 million contest open to all musicians in British Columbia created by 100.5 The PEAK FM and Music BC to develop BC based emerging artists. Our part was to give a seminar on web design & development but the experience will be remembered a truly magical event.
The week long event was held at the beautiful Rock Ridge Canyon Resort in Princeton BC. From the moment we arrived, which was closer to end of the week, you could feel something in the air, put that many talented artists in one spot and an amazing things happen.
During our four sessions, we spoke about the importance of establishing an consistent online presence and utilizing as many social networking sites as possible. We covered a wide range of topics from how to purchase a domain name to more advanced tips and tricks to bring more attention and traffic to your website.
