Terms and Conditions:
Please be advised that all work is scheduled on a strict timetable. In the event that we are unable to meet the scheduled deadline due to error on our part, we will continue to carry out your project until completed. But, if at any time we run behind schedule due to a lack of materials from you (logo, text, photos, planning sessions, etc.), and your original deadline has been reached, you will be rescheduled in the next available time slot.
Content:
SS Media Co is not responsible for creating content for your website. However, we will help you determine what information is suitable for your site. Changes to Submitted Text.: Please send us your final text. Time required to make substantive changes to client-submitted text after the webpages have been constructed will be additional, billed at the hourly rate.
Photos and other misc. graphic images: Supplied by client unless otherwise agreed upon.
SEO and website laws:
SS Media Co will do basic SEO on your websites like meta tags, meta description, and insert google analytics code. Any other requirements must be agreed upon otherwise seek a third-party for all your SEO and website laws.
Audio/Video:
supplied by client unless otherwise agreed upon. Audio files must be submitted on SD card or digitally sent. Video content not web ready will require additional billable and fees.
Hosting & Domain Names:
All packages do not include hosting and domain name fees For full details, please give contact us. We will be happy to work with your current host, or suggest one for you.
Payment & Fees:
Updates cost $80.00 HR. All jobs require a 50% Deposit before any work will be started, and the remaining upon completion/before launch. (Quotes under $500.00 require 100% deposit.
In order for SS Media Co to remain in business, payments must be made promptly. Delinquent bills will be assessed a $15 charge if payment is not received within 7 days of the due date. If an amount remains delinquent 30 days after its due date, an additional 5% penalty will be added for each month of delinquency. SS Media Co reserves the right to remove webpages from viewing on the Internet until final payment is made. In case collection proves necessary, the client agrees to pay all fees incurred by that process. Please pay on time.
E-mail/Phone Consultation:
(Up to 3 hours total general Internet orientation education, marketing strategy, Web design consultation, and helping clients learn to use their own webpage editor. Additional education and consultation is at our hourly rate.)
Note: SS Media Co is a web design and development company and does not supply technical support for your computer.
Copyrights and Trademarks:
The client represents to SS Media Co and unconditionally guarantees that any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, trademarks, or other artwork furnished to SS Media Co for inclusion in webpages are owned by the client, or that the client has permission from the rightful owner to use each of these elements, and will hold harmless, protect, and defend SS Media Co and its subcontractors from any claim or suit arising from the use of such elements furnished by the client.
Copyright to Web Pages:
Copyright to the finished assembled work of web pages produced by SS Media Co is owned by SS Media Co until final payment is received. Upon final payment of this contract, the client is assigned full ownership and rights to the website the design, graphics, and text contained in the finished assembled website. Rights to photos, graphics, source code, work-up files, and computer programs are specifically not transferred to the client, and remain the property of their respective owners. SS Media Co and its subcontractors retain the right to display graphics and other Web design elements as examples of their work in their respective portfolios.
